Coast Mountains School District lies on the traditional and unceded territories of the Gitxsan, Haisla, Nisga'a and Ts'msyen Nations in beautiful Northwest British Columbia. The district serves approximately 4,200 learners across 19 schools in the culturally rich communities of Hazelton, Kitimat, Kitwanga, Stewart and Terrace. The district's new visioning document – Engage, Ignite, Empower – focuses on student learning and well-being in inclusive and culturally responsive learning environments.
